Pisces is mutable water, the last sign, and the tradition reads it as the one where the boundaries dissolve. It is associated with empathy, imagination, compassion and art, and with an unusual sensitivity to atmosphere. Its difficulty is exactly the same quality: a sign with soft edges absorbs what is around it, and is not always able to tell what belongs to it and what does not.

Modern astrology gives Pisces to Neptune; traditional astrology gives it to Jupiter, which has the longer record.
The dates move by a day either way depending on the year, because the tropical year is not a whole number of days. Sites that print fixed dates and say nothing are the reason people believe they are on a cusp.
