Aries has an image problem. It gets described as aggressive, impatient, and a bit thick. All charge, no thought.

Everything people find admirable about Aries and everything people find exhausting about it comes from that single trait. You cannot have someone who moves before thinking and also expect them to have thought it through.

The other half is Mars. Aries is where the chart's raw drive lives: assertion, competitiveness, and anger. What are the Aries dates? Roughly 21 March to 19 April, but the exact moment the Sun enters Aries shifts by up to about 36 hours year to year. If you were born on 20 or 21 March, or 19 or 20 April, you need your birth time to be certain: cast a chart rather than trusting a date table.
